ACCIDENT: Horse runs onto the road in front of motorcycle, husband and wife injured

A road accident occurred overnight in the village of Çakrez, Gramsh, leaving a husband and wife injured while riding a motorcycle.

According to preliminary information, the couple were traveling along the road when a horse suddenly ran in front of them, causing the rider to lose control of the motorcycle. As a result, both the man and the woman were thrown from the bike and sustained injuries.

Police officers from Gramsh and emergency medical teams arrived at the scene shortly after being alerted. They provided first aid before transporting the injured couple to Gramsh Hospital.

After about an hour under medical care, and due to the seriousness of their condition, the couple were transferred by ambulance to Tirana for more specialized treatment.
