Accident on the “Korçë-Pogradec” road/ Police issues a statement!

Regarding a video posted in the media about an accident on the “Korçë-Pogradec” road, at the location called “Leshnicë,” where a traffic patrol was present on duty in this area, we clarify that: the accident occurred on November 16, 2025, around 13:30.

The Road Police officers on duty at this section of the road carried out all procedural actions and issued an administrative penalty, in accordance with point 4 of Article 147 of the Road Code, to the driver who caused the accident, for failing to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
