Administrators of Korçë and Kolonjë resign, no deputy mayor dismissed

Resignations of local administrators have begun in the southeastern region of Albania, following Prime Minister Rama’s call for their removal.
Sources report that all municipal administrators in Korçë (7 in total) and Kolonjë (3 in total) have submitted their resignations to their respective mayors.
Meanwhile, when contacted by phone, the mayors of Korçë and Kolonjë — Sotiraq Filo and Erion Isai confirmed that no deputy mayors will be dismissed.
On the other hand, no such resignations have occurred yet in the municipalities of Pogradec, Maliq, and Devoll. According to communications with these institutions, they stated that they are currently evaluating the situation in order to implement the full legal framework concerning this directive on leadership positions.
So far, no deputy mayor in the southeast of the country has been dismissed or has resigned.
Sources add that Prime Minister Rama is expected to visit the region in the coming days.
