Albanian breaks house arrest by hiding in his wife’s car trunk! Arrested for the second time

An Albanian man has been arrested for the second time after being caught by Italian Carabinieri while violating the house arrest ordered by the court.

However, officers were surprised to find the suspect hiding in the trunk of his wife’s car while they were going out together in the city.

During a routine check on house arrest, officers from the Castelnuovo di Porto Carabinieri Station noticed the absence of the 34-year-old man and his partner from their home. Under these circumstances, they expanded their search along the roads and found him about 2 km from the house, stopped in a car driven by a woman.

After identifying the driver, an Italian woman and the Albanian man’s partner, the Carabinieri decided to inspect the vehicle and found the man strangely hiding in the trunk, according to Italian media reports.

The Albanian, seriously suspected of avoiding imprisonment, was arrested and taken to the police station to await a fast-track trial. The court reconfirmed the house arrest measure for the young man until the end of the proceedings.
