ALBANIAN DIASPORA RETURNS FOR THE HOLIDAYS / Passenger surge

The first wave of passenger traffic has begun at the Port of Vlora, where many Albanians living and working abroad have chosen to spend the end-of-year holidays close to their families in Albania, particularly in Vlora.

During the arrival on December 20, 2025, a total of 288 passengers and 46 crew members were recorded at the port.

Along with them, 74 vehicles entered the country, including 1 vehicle listed on the manifest, 1 minivan, 4 minibuses, 24 trucks, 1 small boat, 4 trailers, 6 vans, and 2 motorcycles.

Port authorities are on standby to cope with the increasing flow in the coming days, while the number of travelers is expected to rise significantly as the holidays approach.
