Another disturbing case of violence among high school students

Conflicts among high school students continue to recur, taking on increasingly worrying proportions.

One such incident occurred on Friday, where a clash between teenagers from the Vau Dejës area alarmed residents and authorities.

According to reports, after the end of classes, the students had arranged to “settle” their conflicts near the vans they use to travel to and from school. Footage obtained shows two groups of teenagers initially fighting with punches, after which one of them appears holding a cutting tool, according to a Top Channel correspondent.

In the video, the teenager pulls out a knife, covers his head with a hood, and attempts to attack the rival group. Fortunately, no one was injured or harmed by the knife during the clash. The conflict was eventually resolved thanks in part to the intervention of a local woman, who helped calm the situation.

The police were immediately notified and arrived at the scene, but sources report that cooperation in providing information was lacking from both the students present and the van drivers. The director of the Shkodër Police, Gentian Berberi, has also been informed and is reportedly following the case personally.

Preliminary data indicates that the conflict had started several days earlier and is linked to another incident that occurred about a week ago near “Shejnaze Juka” school in Shkodër, where two teenagers were injured.
