Anti-smuggling operation blocks over 3,100 counterfeit electronic devices

The Anti-Smuggling Directorate, in cooperation with the Tirana Customs Branch and the Directorate of Trademarks and Patents, has seized over 3,130 electronic devices of various types and brands on suspicion of counterfeiting or unauthorized trade.

“Customs authorities are continuing all legal procedures to verify and investigate the case, as part of their ongoing commitment against the import and sale of counterfeit products in our country.

The General Directorate of Customs is fully engaged, with all its structures, to block any attempt at abuse or violation of the law,” the Customs statement said.
