After the blood moon, the sky will offer another astronomical phenomenon that will be visible from part of the world.
This Sunday, a partial solar eclipse will be visible, covering up to 78% of the disk, and it will be seen only from the south of New Zealand and some areas of Antarctica. According to astronomical institutes, the phenomenon will begin at 19:29, peak at 21:41, and end around 23:53.
Globally, the maximum magnitude of the eclipse is expected to reach 0.855, which translates into nearly 80% darkening of the Sun. In the city of Auckland, New Zealand, the eclipse will appear on the morning of September 22, from 06:10 to 08:04 local time.
Although it will not be visible from Europe and Albania, the phenomenon is expected to attract special attention from research centers and international scientific platforms, offering viewers a virtual experience of it.
