A Sudanese citizen has been arrested in Korça after helping two migrants enter Albania illegally.
Police announced that the citizen M.S., 25 years old, a resident of Darfur, Sudan, in cooperation with other individuals, helped two migrants enter the country illegally through the green border in the Devoll area, with the destination being one of the EU countries.

Another Sudanese citizen has been arrested, after helping two migrants cross the border illegally from Greece into Albania, with the destination being one of the EU countries.
As a result of investigations and intensive operational work carried out to prevent and combat illegal activities at the border — specifically the criminal activity of assisting, in exchange for money, migrants seeking to travel illegally to EU countries — the DVKM Korça structures organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Itinerary 3”.
Within the framework of the operation, citizen M.S., 25 years old, resident of Darfur, Sudan, was arrested in flagrante.
Investigative actions revealed that this citizen, in cooperation with other individuals suspected to be in Greece, helped two migrants cross illegally from Greece into the territory of Albania through the green border in the Devoll area. The irregular migrants were identified by the DVKM Korça Crime Investigation Sector services on Mount Morava.
Work continues to fully document the event and bring to criminal responsibility other individuals suspected of involvement in this illegal activity.
The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.
