Arrest in Porodinë / Incidents in Devoll, Pogradec, and Korçë / Here is today’s police statement!

Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Sector specialists detained G. V., 41, from the village of Porodinë, as the Korçë Court had sentenced him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Falsification of seals, stamps, or forms.”

They also referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against:

J. N., 58, from Bilisht, caught conducting currency exchange activities without registering with the tax authorities;

a 14-year-old, suspected of sharing photos and videos of a 15-year-old on social media without her consent.

Korçë Police Station services detained a 17-year-old on initiative and issued a search for R. M., 26, from Korçë, as investigations suggest that together on November 3, 2025, they stole money from a shop in Neighborhood No. 17.

They also referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for S. B. and G. M., who were caught performing construction work without a permit.

Narcotics Investigation Sector specialists referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings against F. T., 21, from the village of Rëmenj, after a search found suspected cannabis.

Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office regarding an accidental incident, where a spark allegedly caused a fire in a moving vehicle driven by A. H., 24, resulting only in material damage.

Devoll Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings against D. M., 36, from Hoçisht, suspected of psychological abuse toward his parents.

All procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë First Instance Court for further action.
