Arrested in Vlora, Bertil Alliaj, wanted for the m*urder of his cousin in Gjorm

After midnight, police arrested Bertil Alliaj, the suspected perpetrator of the murder of his cousin, Dalan Alliaj, an incident that occurred at the doorstep of the victim’s home in the village of Gjorm, Selenicë.
According to preliminary information, Bertil Alliaj is suspected of approaching his cousin and firing six shots at him with a firearm. The bullets proved fatal for the 36-year-old, who was immediately transported by ambulance to the Vlora hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had died.
Numerous police forces and an investigative team arrived at the scene and immediately began work to fully clarify the incident. For the capture of the perpetrator, law enforcement and RIF special units were mobilized, managing to locate and arrest him just a few hours after the crime.
Bertil Alliaj is a familiar name to the justice system, as he was previously convicted for his involvement in the Çole massacre of 2015, where three people were killed: Akil Hasanaj, also known as Haki Rakipi, Ardi Velaj, and Albi Limaj.
Meanwhile, the victim, Dalan Alliaj, owned a business in the village of Levan, Fier, and had no criminal record. Investigations continue to determine the motives that led to this serious and fatal incident.
