Attack on the Mujeci couple / 40-year-old arrested, hid the perpetrators’ car in his home

Thanks to information secured by the State Police regarding the location of a wanted individual, and real-time information exchange with Montenegrin police authorities, the Montenegrin Police located and arrested a wanted citizen in Ulcinj in connection with an incident that occurred on 26.04.2026 in the village of Balldren.

Immediately after being detained, the individual was deported to the Muriqan Border Crossing Point, where he was handed over to the Albanian Border Police and later escorted by officers of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate.

Following further actions by the specialists of the Criminal Investigation Unit for Crimes Against the Person in the Lezhë Police Directorate, citizen B. K., 40 years old, resident of the village of Torovicë, was arrested for the criminal offense of “Providing Assistance to the Perpetrator of a Crime,” committed in cooperation.

This individual had been declared wanted pursuant to a court decision by the Lezhë Court, which had imposed the security measure “Arrest in prison” in the context of investigations into the incident dated 26.04.2026 in Balldren village, where married couple K. M. and G. M. were killed by firearm.
