A serious incident occurred in Durrës, where a 45-year-old man was arrested for threatening another citizen with a firearm over minor motives.
The arrested individual, E. K., a resident of Xhafzotaj, is suspected of having had a conflict on February 16, 2026, with 38-year-old E. D. at a location called “Kodra e Rrashbullit.” Following the conflict, he allegedly threatened the victim with a suspected automatic firearm.
Investigations are ongoing to locate the firearm, which the suspect is believed to have hidden after the incident, as well as to document all circumstances surrounding the case.

Authorities seized the suspect’s vehicle and a cartridge bullet from a military-grade round found inside the car.
Specialists from the Serious Crimes Section of the Durrës Police Directorate, following the report from the 38-year-old victim, arrested in flagrante:

He is suspected of having had a street conflict on February 16, 2026, at “Kodra e Rrashbullit,” with 38-year-old E. D., and of threatening him with a suspected automatic firearm.
During investigative actions, police found a bullet cartridge from a military round in the suspect’s vehicle.
Investigations continue to locate the firearm, which the suspect hid after the incident, and to fully document the circumstances of the case.
Procedural materials have been referred to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
