A black day has struck Albania, with four serious incidents shaking different cities within just a few hours.

In Shkodër, a TNT explosion in the “Ndoc Mazi” neighborhood injured Tax Office employee, 38-year-old Enea Busukja. The explosive device had been placed in his car and detonated as he started the vehicle. Busukja is currently hospitalized, while police found a burned-out car in the village of Dragoç, suspected to have been used by the attackers.

Shortly afterward, in Durrës, a family incident ended tragically. 25-year-old Marjan Kodheli fatally stabbed his father, 69-year-old Pjetër Kodheli, inside their home. It is suspected that the perpetrator suffered from mental health issues.

In Tirana, a workplace conflict at a pizzeria in the Komuna e Parisit area resulted in a murder. 34-year-old waiter Indrit Ismaillari was killed by chef Filip Shehu, who stabbed him during an argument over work-related issues. Shehu was immediately arrested after the incident.

Meanwhile, in Berat, a conflict over trivial reasons escalated into murder. 63-year-old Kristo Mema, also known as Kastriot Hoxha, fatally struck 42-year-old Keli Hoxha at the Berat Castle. Authorities continue investigations, and Mema has been declared wanted.

These four incidents, an assassination attempt, a family murder, a workplace killing, and a fatal dispute over minor reasons have raised concerns about the rise of violence and insecurity in the country, highlighting the need for stronger security measures and greater community awareness.
