The police operation codenamed “Polena” has been completed.

A 41-year-old man was caught in the act selling drugs and arrested.

Suspected cocaine, divided into doses ready for sale, was found and seized from the local establishment used by the 41-year-old.

Specialists in the Investigation of Narcotics, continuing efforts to combat criminal activity in drug production and trafficking, and based on operational information about an individual distributing narcotics, finalized the police operation “Polena.”

During the operation, citizen N. Dh., alias M. K., 41, resident of Voskop village, Korçë, was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto.

During a search of the premises he used in Polenë, Korçë, a quantity of suspected cocaine, divided into doses ready for sale, was found and seized as material evidence.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, work continues to fully document the criminal activity of this individual.

Procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
