BREAKING NEWS / 50-year-old man from Drenova arrested; distributed narcotics, collaborated with a man from Korçë!

The police operation codenamed “Drenova” has been finalized.

A 50-year-old man who was distributing narcotic substances has been apprehended and arrested.

The accomplice of the 50-year-old has been declared wanted, and work continues to locate and arrest him.

One package containing narcotic substances has been seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Korçë Local Police Directorate, in implementation of the action plan drafted for 2026, aimed at preventing and combating criminal activity in the field of narcotics, and based on operational information received about a citizen distributing narcotic substances in the Korçë area, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Drenova”.

As part of the operation, citizen M. M., 50 years old, resident of Drenovë, Korçë, was caught and arrested in flagrante delicto.

At the moment of arrest, a package containing approximately 104 grams of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa was found on him and seized as material evidence.

Investigations revealed that the 50-year-old was collaborating with citizen K. M., alias A. M., 37 years old, resident of Korçë, who has been declared wanted and efforts are ongoing to apprehend him.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues to fully document the criminal activity of these individuals from a legal standpoint.

The materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Korçë for further actions.
