Specialists from the Illegal Trafficking Investigation Unit of Korçë Police arrested B. B., 52, resident of Zëmblak, Maliq, in the act, and referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office where criminal proceedings were opened against Gj. P., 37, resident of Korçë.

Police services found B. B. outside his residence, violating the “house arrest” measure imposed by the court for the crime of “Assistance in Illegal Border Crossing.” At the time of his arrest, he was accompanied by a 22-year-old, whom he is suspected of helping to cross the border illegally into Greece for a sum of €100. Gj. P. is suspected of mediating between these two individuals.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of Korçë Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, opening criminal proceedings against R. T., 22, resident of Korçë, after a baseball bat was found in his car during a search by the Special Force “Shqiponja.” The bat was seized as material evidence.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of Maliq Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, opening criminal proceedings against R. G., 28, resident of Gorë, Maliq, who was found in Symiz village transporting cut wood without a permit. The wood and the vehicle were seized as material evidence.

All procedural materials have been submitted to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
