BREAKING NEWS / 60-year-old man from Korçë caught with contraband goods on the “Kapshtricë-Bilisht” route

Specialists from the Korçë Crime Investigation Unit referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the following individuals:

P. K., 60 years old, resident of Korçë, for the criminal offense of “Smuggling of other goods,” after various goods and vehicle parts, suspected to be contraband, were found and seized as evidence during a vehicle inspection on the “Kapshticë-Bilisht” road. The 60-year-old did not have tax invoices for these items.

Q. D., 31 years old, resident of the village of Feras, Divjakë, for the criminal offense of “Illegal crossing of the state border,” as he is suspected of having entered Greece illegally.

The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë Court of First Instance for further action.
