Traffic Police specialists caught in the act and arrested citizen E. Sh., 37 years old, resident of the village Rov, Maliq, after he was stopped on the “Libonik–Plasë” road while driving under the influence of alcohol.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Korçë Police Commissariat:

* referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen G. M., 34 years old, resident of Korçë, as he is suspected of stalking his former cohabiting partner, who has been issued a protection order;

referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen M. G., 38 years old, resident of Korçë, as he is suspected of threatening a 22-year-old via mobile phone;

referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against a 15-year-old, resident of Korçë, as he is suspected of hitting an 18-year-old with punches and hard objects.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Pogradec Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen A. M., 46 years old, resident of the village Shëngjergj, Maliq, as she is suspected of physically assaulting her sister.

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Maliq Police Commissariat:

referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings began against citizen A. M., 42 years old, resident of Maliq, as he is suspected of opposing Public Order Police officers during the imposition of an administrative measure for improper parking of his cousin’s vehicle;

referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office for evaluation, after citizen A. L., 50 years old, resident of Maliq, presented himself at the Korçë hospital, suspected of being injured by water steam while working in a dairy workshop. The 50-year-old received medical treatment and was later released to his home.

Procedural materials were referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.

Korçë / Following the information provided on 09.02.2026 regarding the disappearance of citizen A. D., 72 years old, resident of Korçë, we inform that his lifeless body (decomposed) has been found in the place known as “Çezma e Manushaqeve”, on Morava mountain, Korçë. From the entirety of investigative actions (scene examination, body examination, and statements from the forensic doctor after the autopsy), it results that there were no external injuries and the 72-year-old is suspected to have died of natural causes.
