BREAKING NEWS / Serious accident on the Korçë–Maliq road, several people injured

A serious accident occurred this afternoon on the Korçë–Maliq road, leaving several people injured.

The incident happened near the village of Lumalas.

POLICE STATEMENT:

On 18.03.2026, around 13:30, on the "Korçë-Maliq" road near the village of Lumalas, Korçë, the vehicle driven by K. G. collided with a vehicle driven by K. Ç., who was injured and taken for medical treatment at Korçë Hospital.

Further procedural actions are being carried out with the other driver, K. G.

The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances and determine the cause of the accident.
