BREAKING NEWS / The General Directorate of Prisons arrives at the high-security prison. Surprise inspections in the cells begin

The Operational Forces of the General Directorate of Prisons (DAP) have arrived at the high-security prison in Peqin, where they have begun surprise inspections in the cells.

Sources told Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha that the GDP operational forces set out early in the morning, following an order from the General Director of Prisons.

Inspections are currently being carried out across all areas of the prison.

Around 20 vehicles with GDP operational forces have been engaged in the operation.
