BREAKING NEWS / The lifeless body of 75-year-old Flora Hoxha is found after 24 hours of searching

Sources close to the local police report that 75-year-old Flora Hoxha has been found drowned near the Devoll River. According to preliminary information, the elderly woman, who suffered from mental health issues, left her home at around 05:00 yesterday morning and never returned.

It is suspected that she was swept away by the waters of the village’s main canal, which had been completely flooded for the past three days due to high water levels.

Immediately after the report of her disappearance, police forces, firefighters, and civil emergency teams launched a search operation throughout the area. After intensive searches that continued throughout the entire day and night, her body was finally found this morning.

Tragically, the elderly woman was found without signs of life, bringing a tragic end to the search that had gripped her family and the local community with anxiety.

POLICE NOTICE:

Devoll / Following the information provided last night regarding citizen F. H., 75 years old, who had left her home and was suspected to have drowned due to flooding in the village of Progër, after the searches carried out, today at around 08:30, she was found on the outskirts of the village, beside a stream, without signs of life.

The investigative team is at the scene and is conducting further investigative actions.
