Arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen E. A., 48 years old, resident of Korçë, after the vehicle he was driving hit 4 parked cars on the road in neighborhoods no. 3 and 7 in Korçë. After being stopped by traffic police services, the 48-year-old was subjected to an alcohol test, which showed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen E. M., 31 years old, resident of Korçë, after being caught by the Special Force “Shqiponja” while driving without a driving license.

Crime Investigation specialists of the Maliq Police Station:

Arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen A. Sh., 25 years old, resident of Vashtëmi village, Maliq, after in Vloçisht village he is suspected of stealing food products from a shop belonging to a 36-year-old man. Investigations also suggest that the same individual is the author of a theft that occurred on 14.03.2026 in Vashtëmi village, at the home of a 45-year-old woman (resident in Greece), where several household appliances were stolen.

Referred the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizen F. A., 33 years old, resident of Maliq village, suspected of assaulting a 42-year-old man with punches.

Crime Investigation specialists of the Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings against citizens R. B., 61 years old, resident of Tirana, for “Electricity theft”, and Xh. L., 61 years old, resident of Vërdovë village, Pogradec, for “Abuse of duty”. During inspection of a business managed by R. B., OSHEE employees found illegal electricity connections. The citizen Xh. L., an OSHEE meter inspector in Pogradec, is suspected of failing to properly inspect the electricity meter in this business.

Narcotics Investigation specialists referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings against citizens E. F., 34 years old, and R. F., 33 years old, residents of Korçë, after in neighborhood no. 14 in Korçë, during a search of R. F.’s bar, a suitcase with chips allegedly used for gambling, a grinder for narcotics, and a small quantity of suspected cannabis were found. In addition, during the inspection of E. F.’s phone, active sports betting pages were discovered. As material evidence, 3 mobile phones, the narcotic substance, the grinder, and the chips were seized.

The procedural materials were referred to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
