BREAKING NEWS: Serious accident / Two cars collide, three people seriously injured

A serious road accident was recorded at around 10:05 this morning, marking the first day of the new year, on the Peqin–Rrogozhinë national road. According to sources at the scene, two vehicles collided with each other in the village of Karinë, Peqin.

As a result of the strong impact, both vehicles were partially destroyed, and at least three people were reported to have been seriously injured. The injured were transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical assistance.

Police services and ambulances arrived immediately at the scene and are carrying out the necessary procedures, while traffic on this road segment experienced temporary difficulties. Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.
