Breaking news: Shop burglary at a dairy store, thief arrested in Pogradec

Police have arrested the suspected perpetrator of a theft at a dairy shop in the city of Pogradec.

The incident was recorded three days ago in neighborhood no. 3, in the area of the hospital road, where a person allegedly entered a dairy shop and stole around 200,000 new lek.

Following investigations using special methods, the Pogradec Police Commissariat managed to identify and arrest the 22-year-old Jorgo Shuli, suspected of carrying out the theft.

According to police, the case has been documented with legal evidence, while the arrested individual is charged with the criminal offense of “theft.” The materials have been forwarded to the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.

This is the second theft case in Pogradec within a few months, after another incident in which a jewelry store was robbed and two people were arrested.
