Clashes, threats, and accidents: What is happening in Korçë?

The Korçë Local Police Directorate reports that, following preliminary information about an accident on the “Korçë-Pogradec” road in the village of Sovjan, specialists from the Road Traffic Sector arrested citizen B. M., 44, a resident of Korçë, in flagrante delicto. While driving, he hit citizen H. F., 78, a resident of Sovjan, who was riding a bicycle.

H. F. remains under medical care.

Additionally, Pogradec Police Commissariat services arrested citizen D. R., 32, a resident of Pogradec, in flagrante delicto, on suspicion of physically assaulting his father.

Meanwhile, Korçë Police Commissariat referred the case to the Prosecution, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against:

K. T., 41, and I. T., 45 (cousins), residents of Vithkuq, for a physical conflict over minor reasons;

A. I., 29, resident of Mborje, suspected of stealing several items from the village church;

R. M., 62, resident of Korçë, suspected of damaging the door of citizen R. Xh., 39, and threatening her with sharp and blunt objects over minor reasons.

The procedural materials have been submitted to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further legal actions.
