Crime within the family in Greece, brother suspected of killing 47-year-old man with scissors inside the home

A serious incident shocked the community of Nea Peramos on Monday morning, where a 47-year-old man lost his life as a result of injuries inflicted with a sharp object, believed to have been a pair of scissors.

Inside the home was also the victim’s 44-year-old brother, who was found injured and was urgently transported to the hospital. He is being investigated as the main suspect in the incident.

According to authorities, the alarm was raised by another brother of the family, 48 years old, who notified the police after finding the two brothers in critical condition.

The incident is suspected to have been the result of a violent conflict between the two brothers, while the reasons behind the dispute remain unclear. Police have launched a full investigation to clarify the circumstances and motive of the incident.
