Nearly 8,000 kg of hot red peppers from Divjakë were blocked today by Croatian authorities.
It has been reported that this large quantity of hot red peppers was stopped because it tested positive for three banned agricultural chemicals.
The blocked shipment will be destroyed in Croatia.
This is not the first time that vegetables from Albania imported to Croatia and Slovenia have been blocked due to pesticide content; the most recent case occurred just a month ago.
