Customs officers on strike / Tomorrow, car traffic at the border will be blocked for 4 hours

The Kakavijë Border Police have announced that on Monday, October 27, 2025, vehicle traffic in both directions at the Kakavijë border crossing will not be allowed, due to a strike by Greek customs officers.

According to information received from the Greek Border Police, the restriction will be in effect from 06:00 to 10:00 (Albanian time).

During this period, only pedestrians without luggage and vehicles with medical emergencies will be allowed to cross.

The Kakavijë Border Police ask for citizens’ understanding and advise them to plan their vehicle trips at other times of the day to avoid delays and traffic issues.
