Dallëndyshe Bici steps down from the leadership of NITP! Here’s who will replace her

Dallëndyshe Bici has stepped down from the position of chief inspector of the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection.

Bici held this position for 18 months, having been appointed in July 2024.

The reasons for this change in the leadership of NITP are not yet known.

Meanwhile, Adriatik Kupi will take Bici’s place as head of NITP. Kupi is also close to the government, having held several positions.

He was initially the administrator of the Petrelë Administrative Unit in Tirana and later the director of the Distribution System Operator.

Kupi is also reportedly close to the current Deputy Minister of the Interior, Xhemal Qefalia.
