“Death Road” / Another accident with 3 victims in the same location where the tragedy involving PAOK fans occurred

Another road tragedy has occurred in Romania, just days after the fatal accident in which seven PAOK fans lost their lives while traveling from Thessaloniki to France for the match against Lyon.

According to local media, three people died and another was seriously injured on Sunday afternoon following a severe traffic accident outside the community of Domaşnea in western Romania. The crash involved a truck and a van.

Three passengers were pulled from the van without signs of life: the 58-year-old driver and two children, aged 16 and 13. The truck driver received first aid at the scene and was later transported to the hospital by the Prefectural Ambulance Service.

The accident occurred on the same road where, just a few days earlier, seven PAOK Thessaloniki fans had died and three others were seriously injured when the van they were traveling in collided forcefully with a truck near Lugoj, in Timiș County.

It is worth noting that the last of the three survivors from the previous accident was transferred to Greece on Wednesday, February 4, by plane from Timișoara International Airport to continue medical treatment.
