Devis Osman’s request to the Korçë Municipal Council:

“Declare the bankruptcy of Korçë Municipality”

Today, during the council meeting, being unable to attend in person, I want to inform you about the most important issue of 2024: the consolidated annual report on the implementation of the local budget for 2024.

To keep it short: the municipality’s revenue from taxes and fees is 739,206,098 ALL, and all of this goes toward personnel expenses amounting to 902,304,000 ALL. But to pay all these employees, the municipality needs an additional 163,098,000 ALL. If you continue reading the report, you will see even more “wonders” that only exist in Korçë Municipality!

Unfortunately, today we have a bankrupt municipality when it comes to revenue realization and using those funds to serve the citizens.

So, under these conditions, when every tax and fee taken from citizens goes just to keep these politicians employed, then tell me — what is this municipality really serving?

(P.S. — What I have reported here has nothing to do with politics, because they have specialists there anyway… from victory to victory?)
