Distributing drugs / Two 36-year-olds arrested for possession of 60 doses of cocaine

The police concluded the operation code-named “Midnight” after several weeks of investigations and surveillance, arresting 36-year-old E.K., suspected of drug distribution in the city.

During a physical search, E.K. was found with a quantity of cocaine divided into 60 doses intended for sale. His vehicle and mobile phone were also seized.

In the same operation, 36-year-old B.O. was also apprehended; he is suspected of being a user and had just received the narcotic. Criminal proceedings were initiated against him while in a free state.

The operation was organized by the Narcotics Investigation specialists of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Special Force “Eagle.”

All materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further actions regarding the criminal offense of “Production and sale of narcotics.”
