The Prefect of Korçë District, Nertil Jole, together with the Mayor of Pogradec Municipality, Ilir Xhakolli, have inspected the construction site for the development of the new water supply network in the administrative unit of Trebinjë.

This vital project for the community includes the construction of a modern drinking water supply network and foresees the installation of 70 kilometers of linear pipelines, the opening of 10 kilometers of new roads, and the construction of 8 water reservoirs.

The investment, worth 496,317,000 ALL including VAT, is financed by the Albanian government through the National Agency for Water Supply, Sewerage, and Solid Waste. The maximum completion period for the works is 15 months.

Once this project is completed, 8 villages in the Trebinjë unit, with approximately 4,500 residents, will have safe and high-quality access to drinking water.
