Drug smuggling scheme in prison uncovered! Three people arrested, including a police officer

Three people have been arrested by police in Elbasan for allegedly smuggling illegal items into prison facilities.
It is reported that a police officer at the Elbasan Prison (IEVP) was arrested in absentia, along with a detainee and a female relative of the detainee.
The individuals are:
N.K., police officer at IEVP Elbasan
E.K., relative of a detainee
G.S., detainee at IEVP Elbasan
Months of investigation revealed a coordinated scheme to smuggle narcotics into IEVP Elbasan for financial gain.
According to sources, the scheme involved the police officer facilitating the entry of narcotics into the detention facility in collaboration with the external accomplice and the detainee.
The operation was carried out by the Internal Affairs and Complaints Service.
