Drugs in prison and se*x in the prayer room: 23-year-old female guard in a one-year intimate relationship with an inmate

A major scandal has erupted in Britain following the revelation of a case involving a 23-year-old prison guard accused of having sexual relations with inmates and smuggling drugs into the facility, according to details made public at Southwark Crown Court in London.

Former prison officer Isabel Dale is suspected of engaging in sexual activity with inmate Shahid Sharif inside the prayer room of Coldingley Prison in Surrey, while two other inmates allegedly acted as “lookouts.”

According to prosecutors, the incident occurred on July 19, 2022, when Dale and Sharif stayed in the room for about four minutes before she was seen on camera leaving and adjusting her trousers.

The Daily Mail reports that Dale began working at the prison in September 2021 and, according to the indictment, maintained an intimate relationship with Sharif for over a year, from autumn 2021 until the end of 2022.
