Drugs, theft, and fraud / Police issue search warrants for 6 people for various criminal offenses

Six people wanted by the police have been located and arrested in Durrës and surrounding areas for various criminal offenses, including drug production and trafficking, illegal border crossings, theft, fraud, and resisting police officers.

Abdyl Kaçaça, 35, resident of Durrës, had previously been sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison for drug production and trafficking. He had 2 years and 9 months remaining to serve.

Jorid Muçeku, 27, resident of Durrës, had a final sentence of 3 years and 4 months in prison for assisting in illegal border crossings.

V. T., 45, was wanted for theft, with a court order for “arrest in prison.”

E. S., 35, resident of Laç, was wanted for fraud.

B. D., 33, resident of Kavajë, was wanted for resisting a public order police officer and was processed without detention.

Another citizen, E. S., 35, resident of Durrës, wanted by the Korça Police Directorate for fraud, was also processed without detention.

The investigations continue to locate other wanted individuals, while the case files have been sent to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further action.

According to the Durrës Police Directorate:

Two of the arrested had previous convictions for drug production/sale and assisting illegal border crossings; one individual was accused of theft; and three others were suspected of fraud, fraud committed in collaboration, and resisting a public order police officer.

As a result of checks and operational work carried out to locate and arrest the wanted individuals, the Operational Support Section specialists, within the framework of operation “Ndjekja,” located, arrested, and placed in custody:

Abdyl Kaçaça, 35, Durrës, sentenced in 2024 by the Court of Appeal to 5 years and 6 months for “Drug Production and Sale,” with 2 years and 9 months remaining;

Jorid Muçeku, 27, Durrës, with a final court decision of 3 years and 4 months for “Assisting in Illegal Border Crossings”;

V. T., 45, under the court order “Arrest in Prison” for theft;

E. S., alias E.H., 35, Laç, for fraud;

B. D., 33, Kavajë, for “Resisting a Public Order Police Officer,” processed without detention;

E. S., 35, Durrës, wanted by Korça Police for fraud, processed without detention.

Efforts continue to capture other individuals on the wanted list.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further actions.
