Today is a special day for Pogradec and not only.
At 19:00, the Enkelana marathon takes place, which has been advertised for a long time.
It was said that the great Albanian athlete, Luiza Gega, will also participate in this marathon, but a few moments ago "Korça Boom" learned that Luiza will be in Pogradec this evening, but simply to respect the marathon and not to participate in the competition.
Even yesterday in the afternoon, Luiza Gega trained in Korça, but confirmed the news that she will simply be present there to closely follow the marathon and not run, due to the many activities that await her in the coming months.

July 29, Enkelana Marathon!
Over 700 participants from 35 countries of the world part of the Pogradec race.
We remind everyone of the announcement of road closures according to the established schedules.
-Temporary blocking of the national axis Lin-Pogradec and Qafë Plloçë-Pogradec:
- Blocking for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the time zone 19⁰⁰-20³⁰
- In both directions mentioned above, i.e. in the sense when coming from Tirana and from Korça.
- The streets of the city will also be blocked until the end of the marathon.
- All vehicle drivers are requested to take measures not to drive on the national road at this time, i.e. from 19⁰⁰ to 20³⁰.
