Erion Veliaj, who was dismissed on September 25 from his position as mayor of Tirana, has decided to appeal this decision at the Constitutional Court.
Judge Sonila Bejtja has been assigned as the rapporteur for Veliaj’s appeal at this institution.
The process at the Constitutional Court is expected to examine the legality of the dismissal decision and its resulting consequences.
