For more than four decades, Parim Pinderi has been one of the most beloved figures in education in Ersekë.

At the “Papa Kristo Negovani” school, he has educated dozens of generations, and his greatest joy remains the moment when he sees his former students successful in life and shaped as good citizens.

“It’s been a long period in education. I have loved this profession, I have worked with dedication with the students. In the first five years of my career, I taught language. A teacher’s work has its fatigue and difficulties, but also its satisfaction. When you succeed, you feel fulfilled. When I see my former students in high positions, I feel proud of it,” says the teacher.

In recent years, Parim has also chosen to dedicate himself to a more delicate task: caring for and educating children with disabilities. It is a job he calls difficult, but at the same time beautiful and noble.

“When I started seven years ago, it was difficult, my experience was limited. More importance is being given to children with disabilities. It is not easy. There are autistic spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, special behaviors, and so on. These children want the teacher’s love, they need dedication, not indulgence, not pity – they need love from everyone around them. We face problems with teaching tools, but the school where I work has done a good job,” Pinderi explains.

The experienced teacher also has a message for young people who want to pursue this path in education.

“For these young people who complete special education and will work with children with disabilities, they must love the profession and keep in mind that they will face major challenges. But love for the profession is not enough – it also requires dedication and sincere work,” he appeals.

For Parim Pinderi, teaching is not just a profession, but a life mission that leaves a lasting mark on the formation of future generations.
