The Albanian U-19 women’s national team is set to take the field tomorrow, under the guidance of coach Luçije Gjini. The match, scheduled for Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the “Arena Kombëtare” stadium, marks Albania’s first game in the opening round of the UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship 2025 qualifiers.

Coach Gjini will make her official debut in this role, having previously led the team in friendly matches. According to the Communication Department of the Albanian Football Association (FSHF), defender Kristina Hoxhaj has joined the squad, while Artijola Berisha has had to leave the camp due to not receiving her Albanian passport in time.

The team has been training intensively in Durrës over the past days, with all players taking part in the sessions. Entry to the “Arena Kombëtare” for tomorrow’s game will be free, and the team is counting on fan support to kick off the tournament on a high note.

In addition to Albania’s match, another Group B1 clash will take place tomorrow. Belarus will face Moldova at 2:30 PM at the “House of Football” venue. All matches in this group will be hosted in Albania, organized by the FSHF, and will run on November 27, 30, and December 3.
