Exploited two Chinese women for prostitution, 47-year-old woman arrested

Tirana police have uncovered a case of prostitution exploitation and the adaptation of premises for carrying out this illegal activity.

A Chinese woman who acted as the pimp has been arrested for exploitation, while two other Chinese nationals have been criminally charged for adapting their apartment for this criminal activity.

Tirana /The police operation codenamed “Foreign 3” has been finalized, targeting a case of prostitution exploitation and the adaptation of premises for prostitution.

A 47-year-old Chinese woman was arrested for exploiting two Chinese nationals for prostitution.

Two women who engaged in prostitution have been criminally charged after they had adapted their apartment for this criminal activity.

Specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking, continuing their efforts to combat all forms of illegality, based on information obtained about a case of prostitution, organized and carried out, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, the police operation codenamed “Foreign 3”. As part of this operation:

Chinese national F. Z., 47 years old, was arrested for the criminal offense of “Exploitation of prostitution”;

Criminal proceedings were initiated against Chinese nationals D. W., 44 years old, and L. C., 46 years old, for the criminal offenses of “Prostitution” and “Maintaining premises for prostitution.”

The Chinese citizen F. Z. exploited the two other Chinese women for prostitution, which they carried out in the apartment where they lived.

Investigations are continuing to identify other individuals involved in this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
