Fatal accident early in the morning / A 75-year-old woman loses her life after being struck by a vehicle

A road accident occurred early this morning on the Lushnjë–Rrogozhinë highway.

The victim was identified as Bajame Ramazani, approximately 75 years old.

The elderly woman was attempting to cross the highway divider on foot to reach the opposite side when she was struck by a Kia SUV. She died at the scene as a result of the impact.

This stretch of road has been the site of numerous similar accidents. Although pedestrian overpasses are available at village entrances, many residents continue to risk crossing the highway directly instead of using them.
