FDA: 10 child deaths linked to COVID vaccines

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated in an internal memo that at least 10 children are likely to have died “due to” COVID-19 vaccinations, citing myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart, as a possible cause, the New York Times reported on Friday.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which includes the FDA, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.

The news comes as Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has significantly changed government policy on COVID vaccines, limiting access only to those over 65 and individuals with underlying health conditions.
