Fight at Lake Ohrid in Pogradec: Woman catches elderly man taking photos of girls’ private parts on the beach

An unusual incident has been reported at a beach near Lake Ohrid, in Pogradec, where an elderly man is suspected of photographing and filming women and girls, allegedly using zoom to focus on intimate parts of their bodies.

According to the testimony of a local woman, the person, identified as Gj.D, an Albanian citizen residing in Belgium, was vacationing on the same beach and was caught filming by her.

In a video she recorded, the moment can be seen when she confronts him, while the elderly man denies the accusations. The woman claims she took his phone and found photos and videos which, according to her, he was sending to friends abroad via social media, communicating in French.

The case was immediately reported to the police. According to the woman, officers arrived at the scene within minutes, escorted the elderly man to the station, and seized his phone for further investigation.

She also alleges that other similar materials were found on the device and that the suspect had tried to delete them before the police intervened.

The incident is currently under investigation to verify the circumstances and the content of the seized materials.
