Operations to prevent and crack down on the distribution of narcotic substances continue.
The police operation codenamed “Zones” has been finalized.
A citizen has been arrested, suspected of supplying other individuals with cocaine for distribution in small doses across various areas of Tirana.
More than 200 grams of suspected cocaine were seized, while investigations and the operation continue to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in this criminal activity.
As a result of intensive checks and investigative actions carried out by Police structures within the framework of the operation “Zones,” a case of narcotics trafficking was uncovered.
In connection with this case, citizen K.C., 37 years old and resident of Tirana, was caught in the act and arrested on “Skënderbej” Street.
Investigations suggest that this individual was engaged in the criminal activity of selling narcotic substances in various areas of Tirana.
During a personal search, Police officers found more than 200 grams of suspected cocaine on the 37-year-old, which was seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
