Fire on the 8th floor of a residential building, significant material damage

An apartment on the 8th floor of a building in the Pavarësia neighborhood, near the former Kombinat area, was engulfed in flames around 01:00 this morning in Vlorë.

Firefighters immediately arrived at the scene and worked for several hours to bring the flames under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby apartments. The operation was difficult due to the height of the floor where the fire broke out.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, while material damage to the apartment has been significant.

The causes of the fire have not yet been made public, while experts are expected to carry out the necessary checks to determine the circumstances of the incident.
