Howard Rubin, a former Wall Street fund manager known for his past ties to George Soros’ organizations and investment funds, has been arrested in the United States on serious charges of sex trafficking and sexual abuse involving multiple women.

According to an article published by the New York Post, Rubin—now retired and residing in Fairfield, Connecticut—was detained by federal authorities following a lengthy investigation. He is accused of using a luxury Manhattan apartment, reportedly converted into what media outlets have described as a “sex dungeon,” where extreme BDSM practices were allegedly carried out, including acts of violence that exceeded the victims’ consent.

U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn, Joseph Nocella, stated that Rubin has been indicted on 10 counts, including charges of torture, trafficking, and coercion into prostitution. According to prosecutors, the victims were recruited with promises of large payments and luxury travel, only to later find themselves abused—and in some cases seriously injured.

Rubin previously held senior roles within George Soros’ investment fund structures and worked with other high-profile clients in the financial sector. The case has drawn significant public attention in the United States due to his former connections with elite Wall Street circles.

The investigation is ongoing, and federal authorities have not ruled out the involvement of additional individuals or the expansion of charges.
