Four people have been arrested for distributing doses of cocaine

The Berat Police have finalized an anti-drug operation, during which a group involved in the distribution of hard drugs has been dismantled.

As a result, three members of the group were arrested, while another individual was placed under house arrest.

All four individuals were involved in supplying and selling cocaine doses in various neighborhoods of Berat.

During the operation, police seized cocaine, mobile phones, and a vehicle as material evidence.

Police statement:

Berat / As a result of a six-month investigation, the anti-drug operation codenamed “Prova” has been completed.

A criminal group selling hard drugs in Berat has been dismantled.

Three members of the group have been arrested.

A fourth member has been placed under house arrest.

Seized: quantities of cocaine, 7 mobile phones, and 1 vehicle.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, as part of a six-month investigation conducted in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office of Berat, aimed at documenting the criminal activity of several individuals who were organized in selling hard drugs in doses in Berat, finalized the operation codenamed “Prova.”

In the framework of this operation, for the criminal offense of “Production and sale of narcotics,” committed in collaboration, the following measures were executed with the support of the Operational Forces and “Shqiponja” units:

* “Arrest in prison” for S. S., 46, A. A., 30, and T. B., 38, all residents of the “Çlirim” neighborhood.

* “House arrest” for K. S., 18.

During the investigation period, evidence was secured that the four individuals were supplying and selling doses of narcotics (mainly cocaine) in different areas of the city.

During searches of their homes and the 46-year-old’s vehicle, cocaine divided into dozens of ready-to-sell doses was found.

The case files have been forwarded to the Berat Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
