From Mentor Kikia: Justice is not made only with guns, men!

First, in the photo, is American judge Frank Caprio, known for administering justice with a humane approach. He became the public’s favorite judge and, when he passed away at 88, was given great honors.
The second is the Albanian judge Astrit Kalaja. He was murdered in the courtroom just after he had read the verdict, which blocked the eviction of 31 homeless families who had been living in rooms of a former military dormitory from the communist era a property the killer claimed to own.
I will not get into the ownership question here, nor into how the perpetrator allegedly became the owner of a public property, nor whether those 31 homeless families rightfully belonged there. But we can safely say that Judge Kalaja’s decision was not simply bought those families living in dormitory rooms obviously could not have purchased that outcome.
What is even sadder than the murder itself is the massive support many people gave to the killer. A collective hysteria of “good for you,” “he deserved it,” “hero of justice,” “well done,” “let’s kill the politicians, ministers, MPs too,” “they are all thieves…” This is the same kind of reaction we see when, in despair, a bereaved relative beats a doctor.
I know people are thirsty for justice! I know that often they pay to get what is theirs, or they don’t get justice because someone else bought it.
I know they are drowning in corruption!
Yes, not everyone in this country is honest. Not everyone is a thief or a scoundrel.
And above all, isn’t there a better and fairer way than the gun?
All of you who support the killing of a judge or the assault of a doctor why don’t you come together? I will come too, even though I don’t support the killer, and let us protest in front of the court or the hospital against corruption?
You who call for ministers to be killed because they are corrupt why don’t you vote against the government to remove them from office?
You who call for the murder of MPs why didn’t you vote for better people than those in parliament?
The best weapon to kill corruption is the vote, people; it is civic action, raising your voice and your fist!
